Alright witches, spooky season is back. As we all know, October brings with it a month of pumpkins, sweaters, changing leaves, and all things eerie. This is when films about to witches, vampires, ghosts, and all other beings that go bump in the night flourish. As we have matured, so has the Halloween films we watch. My love of DCOMS turned into 80s and 90s teen supernatural movies and now horror films. Let us take a stroll down memory lane to the Halloween films that impacted my life and maybe yours as well.

- Little Vampire
- Halloweentown series (except the 4th one, we don’t count that one)
- I admit that I asked my grandmother if she was hiding something from me after watching this movie. Sadly, she was not.
- Twitches
- The Scream Team (extremely underrated!)
- Under Wraps
- Mom’s Got a Date With a Vampire
- Casper
- Christina Ricci and Winona Ryder are our Halloween queens
- The Adams Family
- Hocus Pocus
- I still want a black cat solely to name it Thackery Binx
- Beetlejuice
- Beetlejuice… Beetlejuice… Beetlejuice………..? Nothing.
- Haunted Mansion
- Practical Magic
- Corpse Bride
- The Craft
- Teen Witch (no it’s not Sabrina)
- Mostly Ghostly (the original only)
- Young Frankenstein
- Sleepy Hollow
- This is not the same story Disney told us
- The Monster Squad
- Ghostbusters
- Scream
- IT
- Rocky Horror Picture Show
- The Lost Boys
- Halloween
- Van Helsing
- My brother would fall asleep to this movie every night when he was little. Guess it runs in the family.
- Teen Wolf
- Yes, there was a film before the show.
- Scooby Doo and the Witch’s Ghost
- Who could forget the Hex Girls?
